Description
The Forceps Magill is a medical instrument used for various purposes, such as intubation and gastric tube insertion. It is a twin-bladed tong-like forceps with a hand-grip and rounded ends for grasping. The handles are angled obliquely to enable a clear view of the airway. It is usually made of stainless steel, and comes in different sizes for infants, children, and adults. The Forceps Magill can cause local trauma and may be difficult to use if the user accidentally uses the open-tipped version.
